A free, practitioner-led home for AI skills, honest tool verdicts, and news that matters — built by someone who runs businesses on this stuff.
The AI content economy has a structural problem: most of the people teaching it are paid by the hype, not by the results. Affiliate roundups that rank whoever pays. “Game-changer” posts about tools the author used for nine minutes. Frameworks sold by people who have never had to maintain what the framework describes.
Skillra is the opposite bet. I run real businesses — a consulting practice, a martial-arts academy — on AI systems I built and maintain. The lessons here come from production, not press releases.
Three commitments:
- The content is free. Courses, recommendations, news — no paywall. Authority is earned in public.
- Verdicts are honest. When a link earns us a commission, it says so, and it never changes the rating. When the answer is “skip it,” we’ll write “skip it.”
- Everything is scoped to who it serves. Company-wide, department, team — because “learn AI” means something different in finance than it does on a sales floor.
