AI File Sorter looks at what a file actually is — not just its extension — and proposes a sensible category and a human-readable name. IMG_2048.jpg becomes clouds_over_lake.jpg; a messy MP3 becomes 2024_artist_album_title.mp3 from its own metadata. It suggests, you approve, then it creates the folders and moves things — nothing changes without your sign-off.
The part that matters: with a local visual model it runs entirely on your device — your files, filenames, and image contents never get uploaded, and no telemetry is sent.
