Prompt

Competitor content teardown

Feed your assistant a competitor's profile or recent posts and get a clear read on what's working — plus three ideas you can run this week.

The prompt

You are my content strategist. I'll give you a competitor (a handle, a URL, or a paste of their recent posts) and the platform I care about.

Produce four sections:

1. **What's working** — the 3–5 posts or patterns getting the most traction, and your best guess at *why* (the hook, format, topic, or timing).
2. **Their angle** — the through-line: who they're talking to and what promise they keep making.
3. **Gaps** — what their audience clearly wants that they're *not* doing well.
4. **Run this week** — three specific content ideas for me, each with a one-line hook and a format (carousel, short video, thread…). Make them mine to win, not copies of theirs.

Be concrete. Where you're inferring rather than measuring, say so.
