Workflow
Never lose touch
Your assistant reads your own message history — locally — and nudges you weekly about the friends who've gone quiet, with enough context to actually reach out.

Tools in this workflow
- OpenClaw
- iMessage
♻ Loopable — built to run on a schedule (e.g. a daily task)
Goal: be the friend who checks in, with a memory that doesn’t leak anywhere.
- Index locally — on a Mac, OpenClaw reads the iMessage database sitting on your own disk. Nothing is uploaded; the whole point of self-hosting is that this data never leaves your machine.
- Score the silence — it maps how often you talk to each person and flags the drift: the college friend at 47 days, your cousin at three months.
- The Sunday nudge — once a week, a short list: who’s gone quiet, what you last talked about, anything coming up for them that you mentioned before.
- Draft the opener — “ask how the new job started” beats “hey, long time.” You send it yourself — outsourcing the remembering is the feature; outsourcing the friendship would be the bug.
The same local archive supports more: transcribed voice messages, semantic search over years of conversations (“when did we plan that trip?”), and a quiet history of what matters to the people who matter to you.
