Talk to your house

Goal: a smart home that understands “we’re leaving Sunday, act accordingly” — not just “turn off lamp two.”

1. Bridge it — connect OpenClaw to Home Assistant’s API and expose the devices, scenes, and sensors you want conversational.
2. Speak in outcomes — “movie time,” “the office is stuffy,” “did I leave anything on?” The assistant translates intent into the right device calls, and voice wake on your phone makes it hands-free.
3. Gate the scary stuff — locks, garage doors, and alarms always require an explicit confirmation reply. Convenience never gets to open your front door on a hallucination.
4. Let sensors start conversations — CO₂ climbing in the office, a temperature spike in the server closet, the washer finishing — each becomes a message, and “should I open the vents?” is a reply away.

Beyond the house, same pattern: precondition the EV and manage charging through a community Tesla skill, send and monitor 3D print jobs from chat, cast to the living-room Chromecast, or drive an e-ink dashboard that greets you with today’s art. All of it lives in Clawdiverse’s hardware wing.
