Goal: ship the small site — the portfolio, the landing page, the local-business one-pager — without opening an editor.

1. Brief it like a contractor — audience, three sites you like, the pages you need, the one action a visitor should take. Vague brief, vague site; this step is the work.
2. Scaffold and deploy — OpenClaw generates the site in a repo you own and deploys a preview. Static-first unless you genuinely need more.
3. Iterate in chat — reply with a screenshot and “the hero feels cramped” or “make the pricing section match this reference.” Each round lands as a commit you can see and revert.
4. Migrate the old one — pointing it at an aging CMS works too: it crawls the pages, pulls the content into the new structure, and maps the redirects.
