Small-business autopilot

Shift schedules, inventory alerts, customer follow-ups, and the weekly numbers — one assistant running the operational drumbeat of a small business from a chat thread.

Tools in this workflow

  • OpenClaw
  • WhatsApp
  • Google Sheets

♻ Loopable — built to run on a schedule (e.g. a daily task)

Goal: get the owner out of the spreadsheet-and-reminder business.

  1. Give it the books — point OpenClaw at the sheets you already run the business on: the roster, the inventory count, the customer list. No new software to adopt.
  2. Scheduling — it drafts next week’s shifts from availability messages, handles swap requests over WhatsApp, and pings anyone who hasn’t confirmed.
  3. Inventory — stock counts get logged by text (“down to 6 boxes of large gloves”); it watches trends and flags reorder points before you run out.
  4. Customers — after a job or sale, it queues the follow-up: thank-you, review ask, “due for a service?” reminder at the right interval.
  5. The Monday report — every week, one message: revenue vs. last week, outstanding invoices, staffing gaps, stock warnings, and the two things that need a decision from you.

Running more than one location? Give each its own agent and let a coordinator roll the reports up. Pair with Ask your books anything when the questions get financial.
